Super Star of Week 4 is......Natalie!
At Friday's assembly Natalie received the mindful award for the week. She received the award for being a great role model and always doing everything to the best of her ability.

BEACH TRIP!
Woohoo! We have our beach trip to Maraetai tomorrow.
You will need to remember:
* to wear your togs
* bring a towel
* bring a good lunch and a water bottle
* a jacket to keep you warm
* clothes to get changed into

Jodeci - our Week 3 STAR!
Each Friday we have assembly at our school. Our teachers can give out one Mindful award to a superstar. The first superstar of the year was Jodeci!! He got the award for Managing impulsivity and working with others by being responsible and a great leader in class and on duty and for being a great example for others!!

Pic Collage Challenge
Today Miss J gave us a challenge to help us learn how to use Pic Collage on the ipads. We had a set of criteria and we had half an hour to take the photos and make the collage.
Our pic collage had to include:
* a selfie of our group under a tree
* a selfie with a teacher
* a square from nature
* a T in nature
* something starting with B
* our names
* the date
* a title saying Photo Challenge

Room 22's behaviour
In the Titans classroom we are aiming for awesome behaviour all of the time. To remind us of this in class we have class dojo! Our aim by the end of Term 1 is to have 50 green awards by our name. If we get to 50 then we can go on the High Flyer day out. It's now week 3 and we need to keep working hard so we will get there.

Branding Assembly
On Friday the whole school introduced their brand to everyone during a whole day assembly. We performed in front of the whole school.
We told everyone our name, showed them our handshake and our logo and performed our chant with our moves.
We rocked it out loud and proud :-)

Swimming
AHH filled the air as the Techno Titans got into the cold freezing pool water. It was the first swimming lesson for the Techno Titans. First we made a whirl pool to warm up.
We checked to see if we could float on our fronts and out backs.
Then we checked out our free styles up and down the pool.
Thanks Mr Vasau for the photos. We are looking forward to our next swim on Thursday.

Online Learning
Titans - I found a great website for you and have made us a SYMBALOO! Now we need to find a good range of learning websites to add to it. These will be the sites that we are allowed onto in class. BOGGLE CHALLENGE
Here's something new for the Titans. Each week we are going to post up a boggle challenge. We will compete in class and write a comment about the great words we come up with. Winner of the best word gets a super duper prize!! (Or maybe just the knowledge you're the best for the week!) Feel free to play along at home - just comment your words.
Rules:
Points if the letters are all over the board and don't touch
3 letter words = 1 point
4 letter words = 2 points
5 letter words = 4 points
6 letter words = 5 points
7+ letter words = 8 points
(if the letters connect then you can double that score!

In Room 22 we have been working hard - right from Day 1. We have created a brand for ourselves - we are the Techno Titans! There will be more coming on that later! We have had a go on the Chromebooks and are creating great work to show you later on. Here's a little taste of what we've been up to so far!
